Hey friend,
"Be still and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10
You ever been in a season where God's voice is silent? Or it feels abnormally quiet. Life may be busy as all get out but something is different. Something feels like everything has stilled. A week ago, or so, I got on that verse... Be still and know... What if God was wanting to quiet all the noise of everyday life for you to come to the realization of His sovereignty.
Job 42:5 — "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You." Job comes out of the hardest test with a newfound revelation of Almighty God. To me, this is the Be still and know. Quiet yourself and take My sovereignty in. Realize that I am the Creator of the Universe, that I spoke light into being, that I formed you in the womb, and that I know how many hairs are on your head.
This changes your perspective on life, when you can grasp the God of the Universe wants you to get to know Him, Jesus Christ!
What you focus on, you empower.
One last thought I'll leave you with: God is less concerned about your situation (good or bad) than He is about who you are becoming in the process.
"...the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." — James 1:2–4
Have a great day,
