Hey friend,
I don't have a long message for you today friends, but I do have something that I believe is weighty. I know it's Friday and usually those are the best days of the week however I also know there are some of you reading this that are carrying tremendous burdens.
Psalm 55:22 encouraged me today. It says, "Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved." David knew how to cast his burdens on God. He knew God would come through for Him and that He would deliver him.
There is a pattern throughout all the Psalms, every time David is under weight, he pours out unto the Lord, and a verse or chapter follows with a breakthrough from God! You might say, well my burden is too great, no, pour out your heart to God like David did. Do you realize God knows the very number of hairs on your head!
God will not let you be moved. But it takes faith and trust in Him. Cast means to throw forcefully. Like a fishing rod, cast that thing so far out in anticipation that God is taking the burden and bringing breakthrough.
"...the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." — James 1:2–4
I hope this encourages you!
Have a great day,
Ben
