All coffee beans come from what's called "coffee cherries". Coffee naturally has these notes, and if you haven't tasted them before it is because either:
A. The coffee is roasted so dark it just tastes "roasty", "ashy", "dark", or "bitter".
B. It was a low-quality bean to start with.
C. It's not fresh coffee.
D. ALL THE ABOVE
If you use the standard 2 tablespoons per 6oz you will get roughly 26.5 cups of coffee. (8oz cups)
If you want a brighter cup with more acidity go with a lighter.
If you want a less acidic heavier cup, go with a darker roast.

Regardless of what coffee you pick, here are a few tips:
Grind fresh, use fresh-filtered water, and use water temps of 205. Brew time should be around 3:30 - 4:30 minutes.
If it is bitter - Grind Courser
if it is sour - Grind Finer

Excellent flavor! I like my coffee beans ground twice for a fine powdered texture. These beans grind beautifully! The aroma and flavor are superior to "high-end" coffees sold in mass. I like my coffee just boiled on the stovetop and served unfiltered. This coffee releases beautiful sweet notes that make every mouthful an experience. My first 2 cups didn't really do anything for me but the 3rd cup For whatever reason really struck my taste buds, it was like Now this is what coffee should taste like. I'ts been a long time since coffee tasted that good. I dropped my other coffee subscription and Lions Head is my go to especially the first cup in the morning. The only issue is that it comes just caffeinated no decaf.

I really like the taste. It was smooth not over baring. I don't really taste the Carmel. But I really like the taste of this coffee. I will definitely buy this again when my current one is half way out. I am glad I found this brand. This coffee for me also does not but urgency on you bodies system.
