What's with the flavor notes? Is that added?
All coffee beans come from what's called "coffee cherries". Coffee naturally has these notes, and if you haven't tasted them before it is because either:
A. The coffee is roasted so dark it just tastes "roasty", "ashy", "dark", or "bitter".
B. It was a low-quality bean to start with.
C. It's not fresh coffee.
D. ALL THE ABOVE
How many cups does a 12oz bag make?
If you use the standard 2 tablespoons per 6oz you will get roughly 26.5 cups of coffee. (8oz cups)
Lighter or Darker roast have more flavor?
If you want a brighter cup with more acidity go with a lighter.
If you want a less acidic heavier cup, go with a darker roast.

What coffee makes the best pour over?
Regardless of what coffee you pick, here are a few tips:
Grind fresh, use fresh-filtered water, and use water temps of 205. Brew time should be around 3:30 - 4:30 minutes.
If it is bitter - Grind Courser
if it is sour - Grind Finer

Buy Buy Buy, this coffee has completely changed the way I intake caffeine. I used to drink an energy drink or latte everyday . No more ,now with Lions heads crips taste and a little honey. I cut the unhealthy way and cost of my caffeine significantly. I will take the bag out of my cabinet several times a day just to smell it. The best cup of coffee I have ever had!!! Smoth , clean and not bitter. Normally I dump 2 teaspoons of sugar into a cup to cover the bitter taste, this morning I was able to drink my coffee with no sugar. The fresh smell of grinding my own coffee was an added delight. 👍🏻👍🏻

I had to give up sugar, so the taste of coffee is really important to me. I am able to drink this coffee with just a splash of milk, but I suspect I could drink it black if I wanted to. It's very smooth and not bitter at all.

When I opened the bag of coffee and the smell poured out I knew it was going to be good. I throughly enjoyed my cup of coffee and went for a second. My first time trying light roast and this brand and I’m very happy with it.
I immediately noticed the difference in quality from which the coffee that I switched. I was getting quite a bit of acid reflux from my old coffee. Once I made the switch, I didn’t have that issue anymore. It is also important knowing my dollars are supporting a Christian company. That was something I was being mindful of when making the switch.
